Humbaba's Mask

Humbaba's Mask is a reimagining of the giant from the ancient Epic of Gilgamesh.  This short story depicts the awakening of Humbaba by excavators and it's rebirth through the little essence that still endures in it's mask.

This project was an exercise in writing and page layout design.  There is also intent to turn this into a  TTRPG  monster, item, and/or questline compatible with OSR products. That's for another time.
